I expect that the missing diagonal lines will reappear after you restart the application. If not, I certainly don't know what that problem might be.
As to the missing Insert button, yes, I suspect that it is probably similar to the smilie problem. I use Netscape which opens up that window in a new tab and I can see the entire dialog, including the Insert and the Cancel buttons (just as I can see the entire smilie dialog window).
Yes that does help, thanks. But now that I've done as you suggest, the right side end of the "path bar" has disappeared, along with the diagonal lines which isn't so much a problem as it just looks buggy.

And I just noticed when trying to post a link to that image (using the chain tool, not the tree tool) the "insert" button is not accessible within the entry dialog window that pops up. (maybe simialr to the "smilie" bug where the bottom part of the window is cut off)
Bergie, have you made any settings changes for the forum in the past 16 hours?
Yesterday, all was well.
Today however I find that when trying to post using Mozilla 1.4 (my preferred browser) there is no text entry box for me to type in. (the bottom border that begins with the word "path" is scrunched up immediately below the part of the toolbar that has a listbox titled "font family". And I've not changed anything locally.
No such problem with Firefox 1.0.4 however.
