Looking back through my rrpicturearchives collection, I was very surprised to discover that I've caught this unit twice six months apart.  Here's a shot taken in Rochelle on March 2 of this year-



And here's a shot of the same unit crossing the Cedar River a month ago-

I know we're all sad when a loco gets patched, but IMHO, I'd rather see a patch than a repaint

This is a thread to post ANY shots of patched equipment. I'll get the ball rolling.
