I believe there are photos in the Robert Olmstead book "Milwaukee Rails" which now sells for collector prices. the photos are all black and white.
Some well stocked public libraries might have it.

I grew up in a small town along the Milwaukee Road's line that went from Farmington, Minn.
thru Mankato and on to Wells. Anyone out there ever railfan this before it was abandoned in
the late 1970s and have photos of trains on it? If so, what was the typical motive power, and
train makeup?
Thanks alot.
