Check the CN Identity Manual on-line.
They are using the Humanist 777 Bold font face for most of the website pages and documents.
Now the Humanist 777 Bold is replacing the award winning CN Logo on refurbished Auto Racks. They make a point in the manual that the logo is perfect for them, but the paint shop has already moved onto a new image.
It is also mentioned that GTW is to totally use the CN Identity, but that has not full happened yet.

Designer Allan Fleming is quoted as saying the CN and GTW logos will last "Fifty years at least".
Fifty years from 1960 is about 2010.
CN might be getting ready for a new logo in 2010 and is testing alternatives.
At first it was a few Canadian National Auto Racks in the middle of 2006.
Now it is even newly repainted Grand Trunk Western Auto Racks.
The "Wet-Noodle" Logos are gone from newly maintained CN and GT Auto Rack on TTX Flat Cars.
Another Sans-Serif style version of CN and GT logo is now being applied in the Paint Shops.
The www.cn.ca website has been using another CN logo style on some pages.
Is this an alternate for the CN and GTW "Wet-Noodle" Logos or is it a new era coming?
The CN and GTW Logos have been around since 1960.
Is it time for a new CN and GTW logo?
