  If it was a dash 9 it had been on fire somewhere along the line and was the leader. Nothing wrong with it except it was missing  some paint.Granted it was a lot of paint and went from cab to rear of loco.

 Am curious as to what siding you are refering to? No siding in that area except a small stub for the buisness cars by the amtrak depot ( thats west of the cam anyway.) and I cant imagine why a loco would be placed there. Will have to look as I go in tonight.

Does any body know anything about the locomotive on the siding looking west on the Galesburg webcam?  It looks like it was on fire or something.  I saw it at 5:50 pm CDT.
