I know very little, but here goes. It's probably a pretty good hike from Myrtle Beach, but CSX's ex-ACL north-south main is out to the west. Should be pretty busy.

I'm going to be in the area of Myrtle Beach, SC soon, and I don't know a blessed thing about any opportunities to go and see things while I'm there. Other than some sort of giant raising bridge out near Waccamaw that appears to have been out of service for years, I'm not even certain if there's service in the area. I know the Carolina Southern has its facilities in Chadbourn and I'm planning on swinging by there to take a peek at motive power, but any other help is appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
