I assume you are talking about before CR was slpit up amongst NS and CSX. If that is the case, on the main line in the Conway, Pa area, you could see most Western roads at one time or another, but, it was for the most part U.P. I have a slide that shows a CR-BN-MRL set going West out of Conway. I have another slide that shows a CR-AT&SF-UP-C&NW set going West and this was BEFORE U.P. gobbled un C&NW. Trains NLPI and PINL usually ran with solid U.P. power sets. Before U.P. got M.P., these trains usually had a mix of CR-MP units.

Foreign power on CR

What kind of foreign power have you seen on CR in PA? I am not talking about all the leased power during the first three years. I have seen UP, MP & MKT SD40-2's in pics or video, but i don't see a lot of pics at CR terminals with foreign power.
