Isn't really all that much traffic -- but Essex Junction isn't bad, and there is some activity near the waterfront. You might also go looking for old unused rights of way -- there is the Rutland's long causeway and trestle out to the islands, not to mention several interesting lines from Essex Junction northeast or St. Albans or Swanton. There is also the whole facility at St. Albans.

I am going to be camping near Burlington Vermont around Labour Day. Can anyone clue me in on any good train viewing sites around the city?
