Ah cheez. Watco only has a bunch of rebuilt and not yet rebuilt GP7s,9s,18s,38s,and 40s (some de-turbo'd) and SW1s,NW2s,SW7s,8s,9s, 1000s,1200s, 1500s. And they are usually well taken care of. Alco parts tend to be expensive if one wants consistent quality parts. Cheap knock-offs are just that, as an Alco operator in these parts found out to their consternation!

The Alco haven of the Minnesota Dakota &Western has been sold to Watco with an effective date in August. Frostbite Falls, MN err International Falls just won't be the same. Rocky and Bullwinkle coudn't be reached for comment.
