Summer. That's when I go most. I certainly don't have to worry about
getting cold, and there are usually plenty of wildflowers to hold my
interest until the next train.[:-^]

Whenever the leaves on the grape vines / kudzu wilt enough to be able to read the unit #'s again.

24/7/365.

Winter - we carry blankets and don't stay as long. Spring - we use the wipers more often and wear the windows out moving them up and down. Summer - we sit under the bridge in the shade and hope for a breeze (see # 1) and fall (see # 2)

When it is dark, we sit really still so no one will notice us. When it is light, we sit really still cuz we are probably resting our eyes between trains.

Holidays - it is a lot less busy.

I personaly like fall the best. The reasons why. The lower in the sun,the much cooler weather,and the changeing of the Trees. What is your favorate time to Railfan. Allan.
