Thank you joegreen. I saw on the BNSF roster that they have three of these units. I had never heard of CITX though. Thanks again for the info.

That unit you saw was an SD70M-2, one of 3 owned by CITX otherwise known as CIT Group/Capital Finance. The usually reporting marks for CIT are CEFX. They were originally EMDX 74-76(EMD SD70M-2 demonstrators). All 3 are currently on lease to BNSF.

CITX are the other reporting marks for CEFX. They are owned by the same company that has the blue AC4400's running around on CP. The ACe's are in the same paint scheme from the one picture I've seen too.

Has anyone ever seen a CITX SD70ace before? What leasing company is CITX anyways? I saw on my way back to Kansas City from Lincoln yesterday a CITX 70ace as the third out engine on a St. Joe. empty grain train. Anyone that wants to see this engine and lives anywhere around St. Joesph Missouri can see it sitting at the depot. It stands to be put on the loaded grain train tomorrow afternoon back to K. C.
