Hi cujo
Welcome to the forums. The arches are from the DT&I railroad.Henry Ford once owned this line and electrified it.The line still serves the ford plants but it is now owned by CN.For more info and a guide to detroits railroading check out the July 2003 issue of trains magazine.I showed it to a guy at work and he said this is where I grew up.I owed him one for the Classic Trains issue he gave me about the NKP railroad.

I'm trying to find some history about the railroad tracks that run through Allen Park Mi.
I am curious to find out about the large archways going over the track and what thier purpose was. Any help would be great. mailto:cujo90@comcast.net[:D]
