Well, it is getting close to that! Puters are so wonderful and so annoying! And this one is getting really closed to being put in time-out! It just has a mind of it's own.

But - if I do pull out my hair, I would have to have another picture taken and I am not going thru that again! Enough!

Hey Ed lincoln!

Ed you need Black hair to be Abe lincoln...

But Ed in all honesty.. your advise is always as good as his advice was..
I studied him for many years.. learning about his Role in the civil war and his presidency.

I watch Black and white movies all the time... Like a few nights ago , if anyone knows the title to this movie.. please post it... it was Judy Garland (sp?) Taking a journey on the Santa Fe Railway.. any bells ringin... it was on PBS a few nights ago... MY Gf was heavily into this movie.. as for me i tried not to fall asleep... (BUT i did stay awake for all the train sceen) the funny thing is.. it wasn't the Sanat Fe railways it was the ATSF.. i cna't rememebr what the "AT" stands for now....

If anyone knows the title of the movie.. post it on up here...

I am the king of black and white movies! Dracula.. The wolf man featuring L. Chaney Jr. or my personal; favorite Dr. Jeckell Mr. Hyde from 1941. that was a really good one!

where wolf of london 1935
Creature from the black lagoon 1956
the mummy 1959

all classics!!

Do you have any idea what I am going thru just to get one posted? I have had two web people working on it, one graphic artist (he is the scanner) and I am pulling out what little hair I have! I would rather be turned loose in a room full of small children than to go thru this picture posting! I feel like a yardmaster with every one marked off!

Hey Jen, How ya doing? Just a thought, you know few if any really know what you look like. You could have some real fun by posting about 20 pics ( only one of you and the rest of other people) [:X] [:D][:o)][8)][:)][8D]and letting everyone pick you out of the line up. And you could say "I did post my pic". This way, Y O U have fun and everyone gets "their" idea of your looks.

Have a great day! Stay safe, and Look, Listen, and Live.

Ride, and shoe one too! Rode with the 4th US Cavalry, A Troop for three years.
It was a re creation group in San Antonio, we protrayed the Indian Wars period, from the close of the States War to 1873.
Taught basic horsemanship at Ft Sam Houston, and held weekend camps for special needs children.
Aimee says I was born in the wrong century!

Dont know.
We would have to find someone with that completly squeaky and abrasive voice, and the stuck up attitude.
Missouri would have been a shoe-in for Boo Radley, except Boo was a lot smarter than missouri![:o)]
Keep hoping the movie would come out on a DVD.
My kids could learn a lot about how really bad intolerance is, no matter who its directed at.

Kev,
What will we do with you now?
In high school, or prep school, what ever you guys call the last part of your primary education, did you ever have to read a book called "To Kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee?
Ever see the movie?
No, wait, its in black and white, so I would guess not.
And betting Gregory Peck doesnt ring a bell?

If you get the chance to rent the movie, I strongly suggest you do, it may be one of Mr Pecks finest performances ever.
It includes the first screen performance by Robert Duval, who plays Boo Radley, a slightly retarded man.
A very powerful story, told by a lady who grew up in the south when black people were not even allowed to shop in some stores, or be outside after dark.

If you had been a conductor back then, you would have made them ride in the baggage car, or the jim crow car.

It may be one of the most damming, and enlighting movies you ever see.

Remember, there are some people who will do what they know to be true and right, even when it will cost them dearly.

Not all of us down south are rednecks.
Stay Frosty,
Ed

[8D] Good picture - waiting for the railroad to call?

I weigh enough to keep me firmly planted on the ground!

Actually, from the pictures I have seen - it is the "older" and "younger" generation that is posting. Where are all you middle-aged people like Ed! (Sorry Ed for the middle age, but since I am older than you - I can get away with it!)
