Woman Hit By Train
Posted by Anonymous on Tuesday, April 11, 2006 11:10 AM
This happened late last week around Brooks, Alberta.

A woman was out with her friends on the town. When they were heading back home, they tried to beat a Canadian Pacific at a level crossing. The woman got hit by the train, needless to say she died. She left behind at least 2 or 3 children.

With due respect to those who are grieving her death, don't people realize that trains move faster than what they appear & they can't stop on a dime. Plus the train crew will be going through some mental torment too. It takes a train less than 5 minutes to get through a crossing & I can never fathom why people can't wait that short time span for the train to get through.
