I've always enjoyed "Railroad Symphony Music".

Locomotive Horns.
Air tanks Popping off.
The Moisture traps making their rapid "spitting" sounds.
The chug of GEs.
The whine of EMDs.
Couplers being stretchd on a long train.
And yes........even the "wump-wump-wump" sound that speeding freight cars make when they have flat spots on their wheels.

Most people hate them, but I love train horns. Give me a Nathan K5LA and a Leslie RS3L and I'm a happy railfan!

I just thought Id let all of you know that just after 5AM this morning Two UP Trains had come through Town blowing the ----------,----------,---,---------- Horn sound. Oh my,I happen to wake up at the righ Moment when it did. I was so very excited when I heard that. It's been years because most Engineers will just blow their horn to what ever comes to them. But that.....My God that was the most increadble thing to just hear that sorta sound in the Mid-morning air. I just love that Train sound. [:)] Allan.
