Used to have a powerstroke starting up as my ringtone. But then that phone went through the woodchipper. Too cheap to pay for redownloading the file.

The LG6100 has a train tone already on it, There are many applicarions that allows you to download ringtones, you should find one there, depending on what provider you have.

I have only looked online at Ring-tone 'stores'. I didn't know Radio Shack offered ring-tones. Thanks for the advice - I'll look there. Bill (ww)

Did you try Radio Shack? That to my way of thinking would be the most obviouis place to go. [:)]

I would love to get that sound or the sound of the ding-ding-ding-ding-ding of a grade crossing.

Thanks for you help!
