Some 40 years ago, Trains had an article about the complete system before it became primariliy a tourist railroad. If I remember correctly, frieght and the market day passenger runs were handled by compound 0-6-6-0 or 2-6-6-2 Mallet tank locomotives and other passenger runs by narrow gauge Bullard railbuses. There were connections with SNCF standard gauge lines on both ends, the east end being with the then pre-highspeed Paris to Marseilles trunk line. Someone with a collection that goes back that far should check and maybe scan and post.
