Fellas, you just have to have some patients!!!! I just stop in from time to time and wait a few minutes. There is always a train!

Thanks for viewing our camera. We have set the camera's tilt and pan to reduce 'unproductive" views, such as the street.

The camera system and technology is best viewed using high speed Internet access. Also the 'Pre Set" buttons provide the best static viewing. The queue allows 5 viewers to line-up for control, each viewer can operate the camera for 120 seconds.

Since there is so much data being trasnmitted, you may have to click your "Refresh" button more often. And once you've "clicked" a control button, you may have 5-30 seconds lapse before the camera responds, depending on your Internet access speed and the number of viewers at that time. Be patient with the controls.

With over 100 trains and barges per day, I would encourage you to keep watching! Thanks for your support.

Ditto! Everytime I've checked the site I am either looking at a lot of brickwork or a big ol bridge way off in the distance. I have yet to see a train. I like the Rochelle site a whole lot better.

I agree with you. It would be better if the camera were in a fixed position, providing the optimal view of the action. Too much of the time is taken up by errant manuverings of the camera.
And did you ever wonder where are the pedestrians out there? No foot traffic on that sidewalk. That's a shame. Get out and walk, people!

Is this site the worst or what? The location is
great, however, allowing everyone to play with the
controls means no one gets to see what is going on. How about setting the cam on the bridge,
allowing us to watch the trains make the turn
coming off the end of the bridge? Or you pick a
spot and leave it alone. Anything would be better than this, unless you like looking at the pavement
or the side of that building or whatever goofy
angle some moron decides.
