What about - community railfan journal for a week?

I'm curious how many trains this community sees in a week? What do you all think about starting a thread -- make it like a virtual journal -- and post about the trains you see each day for a week or something? Or maybe it's a dumb idea.

Not a dumb idea at all, only problem is I work for a terminal/switching road, and see about 25 trains a day, which would bore the heck out of all of you. Theres are only so many SD40s and Dash 9s you can watch, before they all start to look the same. But I would post the oddballs, like the Santa Fe cabless SD40B we had in the yard back in may or the 5 GE B30-7s we took out to greensport, to the Texas Terminal dock, they are being shipped to, of all places, China. All ex BNSF, still green and black, reporting marks now were TLLX, I think they were numbered 7056 thru 7060.

Ed - I think I saw that Sante Fe cabless here in our yard. I was so surprised - it looked so strange - an SD40 was linked to it. Will check my pixs as soon as they are finished and developed. I think it is in there somewhere!

I could tell you about the weekends chores and stuff during the week to do.I could tell you on such a date 8 trains(4east 4west) came by.in 30 minutes.
