Read about half of the replies on this thread just looking to see if there was any useful, train- or railroad-related information, and then jumped ahead to the last one. Didn't find a single thing appropriate for a trains.com forum. Is this a forum about railroading or just a lonely-hearts club?

Two of my favorites - Sean Connery and Wizard of Oz - in a whole new perspective. I got it! And to think I am writing to a demi-god... hmmm...

Thanx

Sorry for the absense. These forums are always educational, but I often have much to say.

Zardoz is a really bad Sean Connery cult movie (http://www.zardoz.com/About.htm, http://www.cduniverse.com/productinfo.asp?PID=1579392&frm=sh_google) in which a superior race keeps an inferior race as slaves. One of the slaves (Connery) sneaks in behind the scenes and discovers the few superior-race people with any intellect follow a demi-god named Zardoz. He eventually learns to read, and discovers that the demi-god is really a copy of the book "Wizard of Oz" with some letter covered with grime. The whole thing is pretty surreal.

This is war! This woman doesn't have to give permission - he knows what I will allow!

He has the right to speak his mind about what I do - with his friends!

My little nose can foam all it wants. I am a foamer! And it was chix salad and wheat bread. So there too!

no, I don't offend easily. But I told Ed about our "spontaneity" and he thinks we are ok - he holds my hand in public!

Well, Jenny. I care about offending people (I really do) but, the ones that will cry don't matter to me. The ones that I respect most are: J, Jackflash, CSX engr, ED, you and Kev (yep, Kev, and one of these days I will send ya an automatic brake valve, hehehe) and a few others that I missed. I am too lazy to type them all, my grilfriend just stuffed a steak down me and a copious amount of brew, now I'm sleepy. She did however say that I'm a heathen. Go figure!

I kinda agree about the throne, J. But I figured it takes a good woman to walk into the restroom while I'm doing some of my best work. On annother note J, I found a general notice about Helper Link that you and Jackflash were talking about. I'll post whatever you want to know about it.

Howdey Sooblue,
You might have, but regardless, you wouldnt want someone to decide for you hat is or is not correct for you to read, would you?
And I think I find the concept of censorship even more repulsive, disgusting and terrifying
that anything mike or missouri ever could post.
You have every right in the world to disagree with me on any sbuject. No one has the right to keep you from expressing your point of view. Period.
I would fight that fight to the very ends of the earth, even if you and I despised each other, I still think you have the right to say so, when and where you feel like it.
Side bar here, what are you "so blue" about, or is your moniker none of my business?
No offense, just courious, and if it is none of my business, no offense taken.
Stay Frosty,
Ed

Hey Dude,
You threw it out there, we are just taking the bait.
Ha Ha, welcome to the real world. The trick is to make her think it was her idea in the first place, and let on you wouldnt want it that way for any amount of money in the world.
Then duck.

welcome to life with a few rules
1) anything a woman does is fine you are not to say anything about it.

2) If you want to do something you need her permission. no matter what it is. that is if you want to be happy.

now to ed go ahead and say it she wont slap hard. she may need you to do something later. and dont worry about jenny tuna dont come thru the nose easy. now that coke she is drinking might make her coworkers alittle uneasy. people tend not to talk to you when you are foaming at the nose.

A) oh great, now all america knows.

B) don't tell my GF or i'll get slapped silly by her! (it's ok IF SHE tells her firends.. but the few people I tell.. it's NOT COOL!.. for some weird woman reason.)

She checks on here some days so maybe she won't notice... *gulps*

Hi Kev,
Still trying to come up with a reply that,
A: Wont get me slapped silly by my wife,
B: Wont get me slapped silly by my wife,
and
C: Wont make jenny snort her tuna on rye out her nose.( got a friend to do that with rice once, really a strange and funny thing to see)
Stay Frosty,
Ed
