Completely white with a railroad crossing lights and gate.. sometimes lowered, sometimes not.. and said Look, listen and live in black.. so basically White Black Red, red was the one light (to give it the air of flahing lights)

so all white with a black railorad crossing post and a gate, red was sued for the light also in black it said look, listen and live...

on the hood it said "CP" but thats up here...

hope that helps..

Illinois Central has at least a couple. SD40-2 6203 and SD40-2 6014. The engines are all black with normal IC logos. At the rear on both left and right sides is one crossing arm down pointing toward the cab with "OPERATION LIFESAVER" lettered above the arm.

Copy and paste this address to see: http://kansaspacific.mysitespace.com/SD40_2_IC_6203.jpg (very large file, may take time to download)

NS from Cincinnati to Danville has one go by my work a lot. It is mainly black and white with the Operation lifesaver on the side. Have saw the caboose that Joe has mentioned on CSX in the old Decoursey Yards in Latonia, KY.

VIA rail has two opperating in the Qubec city - Windsor corridor on the old 6400 engins. It's displayed on the side of the engin, just the OL logo. We were all very happy to see them
