Thanks Quentin, The work train on the left just pulled in the sideing to tie down for the day while the other two meet. There was also a Santa Fe behind the one on the right and it had one of the first Warbonnet GP60Ms I ever saw / photographed.

Chad....I really like your sig pic....it really looks like a "railroad atmosphere" pic should. Lots of action and railroad details.

I don't. I only go through the canyon once in a blue moon. I think I have some video around the Virgilia / Richbar area. I have done a bit of gold panning on the North Fork by Beldentown a few times over the years (there is some nice color in that area!). The last time I was there I had my camera and took some non RR shots but there was a fire that had 70 closed down by the dam and when it opened I had to get out of there before they closed it again. One of these days I want to go do some Feather river railfanning and check in with the museum, I havn't been to the museum in a few years.

In the Feather River Canyon, where the line passes under that road bridge.

I think this is the most scenic shot in the USA.

It's not Tehachappi. And just because I live in Chula Vista doesn't mean it's from around here, I have railfanned all over the west.[;)]

This one was probably too hard. It's Perez on the Modoc line (@hwy139 overpass)
