Trainwatching while on vacation

I was lucky enough to be able to vacation this past week in Alaksa and Canada. While there I rode the White Pass and Yukon narrow guage railroad, what a terrific trip up about 3,000 feet to the US/Canadian border and back. Also saw a lot of Amtrak Cascade and BNSF freights just accross from Pier 66 in Seatle while disembarking from my ship. Question, while in Victoria, BC on Friday evening for a few hours we took a short tour of the city and I saw a small train station that was obviously at the end of track (had bumper posts at the station near a park). The line is evidently active as there were position light signals glowing red, indicating some sort of activity in the area...CAN ANYBODY TELL ME WHERE I CAN FIND INFORMATION ON THE RAILROADING ACTIVITY ON VICTORIA ISLAND, BRITISH COLUMBIA?
