Oh really? That would be cool. But it isn't quite the same as CN's Christmas Train. CN's is VERY impressive.[^]

From what I've heard told, the ACWR in North Carolina use to run an employee-only Christmas passenger train... unfortunately not to be repeated this year [:(].

I've only see the Christmas Train in pictures, but it is quite an impressive sight. I wish CSX or NS would do such a thing; they are the two roads local to me. I think Progressive Rail does this in Minnesota, and possibly their Wisconsin Northern as well. It's kind of a shortliney thing to do, but CP really puts a lot of work and class into theirs.

As a bonus this year, my brother got to be the engineer for the second leg of the train in Wisconsin! [:D]

Every year at Christmas time, Canadian Pacific sends a container train decked with Christmas lights. Then they travel across Canada collecting food items for local food banks. I was wondering if there is anyother rail lines that do this.
