Yes, Chris a lighter sky would have made it a bit easier.....I'm sure you were on a tripod to get this as it is so sharp.....

Quentin,

As always, thanks for the kind words. [:I] I took that one on my last trip to IL. It's the main Lodge/Restaurant building at White Pines State Park near Polo. They put on a Scrooge show every year, and decorate for Christmas. I should of tried to get that one a touch earlier so I could've balanced the sky with the floodlight a touch more, but overall I'm happy with the shot. Thanks again for the compliment!

Well, it is nice to give someone a second chance. That is what I would do. You are a nice person Bergie!

Kinda like a computer. Sometimes you just have to reboot it so everything will come back up right. Hopefully it's chalked up to "lessons learned" and we'll have another great contributor to the forum.

But sometimes when the computer doesn't boot up properly you have to run it in safe mode.

I didn't even realize that LOTUS was doing something wrong, oh ok so that explains why I haven't seen any Train Trivia lately. Interesting...............

If nothing else, it will be nice to have him directly posting Train Trivia again. I didn't answer much, but always liked popping in and checking out some fun trivia. The photo trivias with obscure engines and things were always my favorites.

Good on ya, Bergie! I am glad, as I am sure you are, for all the kind person's who gave me a second chance in my past. Of course, I had to do a major "rug dance" in order to get them, but the listener saw that I had learmed by lesson and wanted the opportunity to do better.

I am happy for all of us.

As I said in another post, just about a week ago, I am sure that many of us have done things in the past that we would like to have the opportunity to do again and the proper way. Life can be a cruel teacher at times, hopefully
"lessons" have been learned and his posts will show respect and civility toward other forum members.

Many of us have had second chances in the past. We cannot see into the future but we can make the most of the present. Let's all take a moment to reflect on our posts and learn from the recent "past". I almost always try, but remember I am human [;)] , to keep a stiff upper lip and stay out of the public dog fights. Hopefully in the future we will have less of these and more "trains".

I have mixed emotions, like I said--I am human, but I will give him the benefit of the doubt. Who knows, in time he might even rival Ed as "The voice of reason" in the forums. Life is a learning experience from birth to death. We are all still learning no matter what our current age. Therefore, let's give him a second chance to live a little.

Here is to a "new and improved" Lotus. Life, make the most of it.

I just want to let you guys know that he is being given a second chance. I want to alert you so you don't think it's someone being a troll or that he has managed to trick me. Also, I don't want you guys to make a big scene about him being back in the neighborhood.

I've informed him that any behavior like he exhibited in the past will result in a permanent locking. As with any members' inappropriate behavior, please contact me.

Thanks,
Bergie
