What CSX engines pull coal trains through either West Virgina, Virginia and Maryland? Mostly AC4400? What about SD70M? What about Dash 8 40CW? Any others? Thanks

csx uses any power that the power buro will on the train, but working in a terminal that halls nothing but coal..out of WV and south western PA.. the power that is most common are cw-44-9ac.
sd-70macs are not uncommon.. but not as plentifull as 44-9s... also you will see from time to time the sd80mac... but for coal trians... they like to put AC power on them.. if i remember right, it has something to do with the territory (hills)... but you will get anything.. sd-40s..50s...and so on...
hope this helps
