It seems Via is doing better in Canada than Amtrak is in America, well in Texas. Dallas gets two trains a day, one in each direction of the Texas Eagle. Houston is worst, it gets six trains a week, with the trice weekly service of the Sunset Limited. Hard to figure why Amtrak hasn't put a local between the fourth largest city America to the eighth largest city in America (Houston-Dallas). Less than 250 miles between the two.....

What town do you live in that you get 4 trains a day? I work in the Quebec city - Windsor corridor...maybe I could shed some insider info.

I live in a city with only 4 trains per day! I wish in my city to see more trains!!! There are more more Cons: Higher prices, less trains, less money, and less attention. But the Pros are: comfortable services, great engines, and great employees. I wi***o see more services here in Canada!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
