I went home but I didn't get a chance to get back here. I had to go to work and didn't get to post that up. I knew what I wrote down wasn't right but I thought I was pretty close. I was off some huh.LOL:))

SP/SSW SD45-T2's were numbered 9157-9404
The daily commute is part of everyday life but I get two rides a day out of it. Paul

You also might be intersted in the SD45T-2's that they had. These were numbered from 9250 up to 9385 I beleive- don't know for sure have roster at home.

SP SD40-T2's were numbered 8230-8321, 8327-8341, 8350-8371, 8377-8391 and 8489-8573.
SSW SD40-T2's were numbered 8322-8326 and 8372-8376.

They did not have any SD40-2's on the railroad.
Although they did have what you call a SD40T-2. These where the tunnel motors. These where in both versions of lettering.

Yes, I believe they did and I remember seeing some come through Aurora on BNSF run through trains. I also believe they all had the old lettering.

did southern pacific ever have any sd40-2 and if they did was the lettering normal type or was it the speed lettering ??? thanks
