Southern Pacific!
The Southern Pacific was the best of them all! Although UP, which is my second favorite railroad, is still great too. But the Southern Pacific had the beautiful daylights, while most of those other railroads never had a train that beautiful. Plus, I would love to see what the other UP heritage engines look like.

It might be neat, but... why? SSW has been a part of SP for so long, and not really a separate entity... No need to differentiate, it can easily be represented by the SP unit. Just like the CMO will easily be represented by the C&NW unit!

Too bad they're not doing a CGW though... Of course, they'd need two of 'em to (almost) make 9000hp...

Southern Pacific is definitely first. Western Pacific is a close second, with Denver & Rio Grande Western right behind WP.

For reasons of sentimentality, I miss the C&NW, it was a road that served my home town. I've also had a special liking for the D&RGW and the SP.

Southern Pacific, for all of those great memories of my mom and grandmother chasing SP freights in Pomona, CA. in the 1970s, with me in the car.

I think I am going to have to go with the CNW. It has a very interesting history, and there is something about Granger roads that I find interesting.

I would cast my vote for C&NW and MKT, the two weak sisters of this collection.

C&NW all the way. My hometown road, and a colorful one at that.

I like the MKT the most. I like the "John Deere" paint scheme and the roster.

For second choice I'll take WP, bright colors on the locomotives and spectacular scenery.

I like the C&NW before 1989 when they switched to GEs.

I have trouble deciding between the D&RGW and the espee. As you can tell, I'm into mountain railroads like those. My freelance RR has SD40T-2s and SD45T-2s. There is just an allure to multiple untis chugging up steep grades in spectacular mountain scenery. my favorite RR will always be CP, though.

Now that UP is coming out with their heritage paint schemes, I have a question and it's not which scheme you like best (especially since they are not all done yet). But which of fallen flag railroads do you like the best[?] Missouri Pacific, Western Pacific, Katy, CNW, SP, DRGW[?] There is no wrong answer, just for fun. [8D]
