Would like to here from someone that knows about mini humps. Humps that use the new retarders.

Mini hump almost sounds like an oxymoron to me. Considering the capital investment involved, any hump is going to be a large operation.
The daily commute is part of everyday life but I get two rides a day out of it. Paul

Mini-hump comes from the height of the hump which is determined by the number of bowl tracks. Livonia, LA on the UP and Strang, TX are mini humpyards with just a small number of tracks in the bowl. BNSF's yard in Oklahoma City also qualifies.
