Hmm... That little episode must have played havoc with their switching schedule at the plant. I'm actually surprised they don't have more problems on that spur with the sharpness of the bend, the goofy dip in the track and the size of some of the engines and cars they run in there.

Yes four cars went off the tracks but stayed upright (all trains continued as normal)and the cars were rerailed between 9 and 10 pm.

Was it my imagination or did the BNSF put the local freight on the ground while negotiating the tight switch from their main to the DelMonte plant at the Rochelle diamond yesterday. Sure looked like they did when I viewed the recent images on the web cam last night. That train didn't move for at least four hours and there was a heck of a lot of work crew activity visible around the diamond.
