Rights are exercised from Fresno Yard to Exeter Branch, Goshen Junction to Goshen, and Famoso to Algoso. 3) West Side Line (ex-SP) - Begins at connection with Fresno Line north of station of Fresno. Runs west then northwest to Oxalis (Highway 33 at Hudson Avenue, Fresno County) 4) Riverdale Branch (ex-SP) - Runs from connection with the West Side Line at Ingle (west of Kerman) south then southeast to Burrel. 5) Exeter Branch (ex-SP) - Runs from connection with the Fresno Line at Fresno to Richgrove. Section form Lac Jac to Reedley is ex-ATSF. Formerly ran from connection with the Fresno Line at Fresno to another connection with the Fresno Line at Famoso 6) Visalia Branch (ex-SP) - Runs from connection with Fresno Line at Goshen to connection with the Exeter Branch at Exeter. 7) Loma Branch (ex-ATSF) - Runs from connection with Visalia Branch to Loma. 8) Lindsay Branch - Runs east from connection with Exeter Branch at Exeter for about ¾ mile (ex-VE) then south to southern Lindsay (ex-ATSF). 9) Ultra Branch (ex-ATSF) - runs from connection with Exeter Branch at Ducor to Ultra. 10) Richgrove Branch (ex-SP) - runs from connection with Exeter Branch at Richgrove to Jovista. 11) Hollis Branch (ex-SP) - Runs from connection with the Fresno Line at Famoso to Hollis, former southern end of the Exeter Branch. 12) Coalinga Branch (ex-SP) - runs from connection with Fresno Line at Goshen Junction to Huron. 13) Oil City Branch (ex-SP) runs from connection with Fresno Line at Oil Junction to Maltha. 14) Landco Branch (ex-ATSF) runs from connection with Fresno Line at Oil Junction to connection with BNSF mainline at Mopeco. 15) Buttonwillow Branch (ex-SP) - Circuitously runs from connection with Bakersfield Line at Kern Junction to Buttonwillow. 16) Sunset Railway (ex-Sunset Railway [SP/ATSF]) - Runs from connection with Buttonwillow Branch at Gosford to Taft. The section from Levee to Taft is out of service. 17) Arvin Branch (ex-SP) - Runs from connection with Bakersfield Line at Algoso to Arvin. I got the former SP line names from the 1989 SP Wester Regional Timetable. The former ATSF line names are what I call them. I do not know what SJVR calls any of its lines. In Fresno, Tulare, and Kings counties, SJVR has primarily agriculture related customers: ag chemical distributors, feed mills, a couple of ag chemical plants, tomato processing plants, and packing houses. They also serve some box plants, places that manufacture products using plastic pellets, and lumberyards. Down in Kern county, it is about the same but add oil refineries, a couple of NGL plants, asphalt terminals, and composite roofing shingle plants to that. They also serve a lumber mill in Terra Bella.
