NO GRAFFITI??? Is the air division armed and flying cover for the boxcars?

Sort of...

The Mellon Group which owns Guilford owns Pan Am, or what is sometimes referred to as Pan Am III (the original, the reorganization, and now). They run charter and schedule air from NH to FL and a few other places, a mere shadow of the original. Anyway, in an attempt get out from under the contract with the airline pilots, they reorganized the airline into Pan Am (operated by Boston& Maine Airways ) and hired new pilots. Apparently part of the ploy involves turning Pan Am into a railroad and B&M into an airline. I'm sure one of the lawyers here may have more insight, but being a privately held corporation, they don't provide too many details on this sort of thing. Sort of what happened during the merger/re-org of BM / MEC / ST with the labor disputes and such. Some would say as a railroad and airline, they are doing what they need to do to make it, others would say they are anti-labor...depends on what side of the fence you're on.

You suppose these cars haul jet engines and other commercial plane parts or lost and displaced luggage of recent passengers? [:)]
