BNSF has lost one of its own

A 38-year-old BNSF conductor died this afternoon in Nebraska resulting from a collision between his coal train and yard switcher. My thoughts go out to his family and friends.

Amen to that, he was doing a good job in a rough environment and should not have had such a fate. God bless all the railroaders out there!

I am a railroader and Amen to the gentleman's reply. Yes, it is a hard environment and we are out there for one of 3 reasons. 1.it is the only thing we know how to do 2. we are in it for the money 3. we are single I'm very sorry for the man in Nabraska I once had a nearly fatal accident about a year ago If you want to hear great detail of this e-mail me ar mpchoochooyahoo.com I would be glad to tell it. But right now I gotta go crew caller!!! I got the STSTL23879 in 50 minutes!!!
