Market Street Railway restores street cars to operate on San Francisco’s Muni. An Iron Monster built in 1915 has become a rolling museum to Herb Caen, whose daily newspaper column ran over 60 years. Car #130 was restored to 1940 condition and displays Caen’s writing and photos.

The idea worked so well they will be adding more tribute cars and a building near the intersection of the E & F lines will become a streetcar museum.
