Roland, the one we set up empty yesterday went out this morning, at 6:00, drove past it on the way to work, so that two in a few days...

We have a small windmill farm (6 windmills) behind our house. I have to admit, they are something to see. Currently a replacement blade is laying next to one of them. I went to check it out and, like mentioned earlier, the blade is over 100 feet. The end that bolts to the windmill assembly is tall enough for me to stand up in.

Not sure when this blade will be shipped out. It's been there for a couple months now. Would be something to see it loaded on a train and sent to it's final destination.

And yes, I watch them build highrise hotels and dig up streets, too!

....Yes, we've heard the land owners do make out well with having them on their property. And they make very little noise.

for the 'rent' landowners are getting from the wind farm on the other side of the county, you can put as many of those up in my backyard as you want. $5000 a year a piece.

....I hope we continue to build all kinds of "wind Mill farms"...Saves burning oil to produce electricity.....The more the better for us all.....And I would't care if they were behind my back yard...but the Elks who own the golf course might have some thoughts about it......

Sent out another Wind Mill train Saturday morning, left the PTRA at 10:30 am...

Got some photos of the blades, they are over 100' each...
