To me, most turboed EMD's sound the same. Kind of a soft little whistly whine while idling, and lots and lots of whine with a touch of grumble grunt when accelerating. I think it'd be pretty easy to imagine your SD60F sounding real with an SD70 soundtrack.

Can anyone tell me, how similar do modern EMD locomotives with 710 series engiens and older 710s like SD60 sound? Do they have anything in common?

I'm asking because I'm trying to put together some decent sounds for SD60F for MSTS, so I'd like to know if I could get away with SD70 sounds

thanks
