smalling, Simply go to www.trains.com and go to the bottom of the page. There you can see a small version of the photo; simply click for a larger version.

Sorry to intrude, but how do I access today's POD? I've only been able to access a large portfolio of them through "Photo of the Day"; "Photo of the Day" on the website.

You can find "Photo of the Day" when you log out from the forum. When the
login page comes up, scroll down and there you will find the Photo of the
Day.

Congrats on Noah's nice shot of the special anniversary unit -- as those of us who were there can testify the most amazing thing is that there are no people in the way.

Kathi Kube's shot of the Soo Line 2-8-2 on the same day on the same turntable at the same WSOR Janesville celebration also shows no people in the way or in the background but Kathi told me her secret -- she got there real early to help set up the Kalmbach table inside the roundhouse.

Ed, the turntable was recently rebuilt(some time within the last few years, I don't remember exactly when), explaining it's spiffy appearence.

Noah,

Great shot. I remember the part about waiting for the people to get out the way. But it was definitely worth wait.

Good shot of a good looking locomotive, in a very interesting location...
Dont see to many turntables in that good shape anymore...or that many SD40s for that matter...

Good job, Noah!

Thanks guys. I actually sent this photo in a while ago, and I had forgotten all about it. This one took some patience to get. Not waiting for the train, that never moved, but waiting for people to move out of the way(this was at the WSOR's 25th anniversary celebration).
