East Coast Florida Passenger Stations...?

About a year ago I believe the Florida Bush Administration indicated it would seek to have Amtrak Passenger Stations constructed down the east coast...Daytona Beech, etc. It was in anticipation of an Amtrak route down the east coast. Has this ever been started...?
