I would also offer you UPRR ones but I am sure you do not want those. [:o)][:p][B)]

Really nice. Since there was so much talk of graffiti (spelling) on locomotives I'm going to have to say something. If you want to see some hard core grafitti come to south Philly and Camden, NJ right across the river from Philly. They have lots of graffiti on railway equipment, from sign posts to towers......ect. That really tickes me off. I know for a fact that Septa faces lots of grafitti on the regional rail lines, subway, and the L. However, on the regional rail line if there is grafitti on one of the Silverliners or trainsets Septa cleans it off asap. LORD HELP US ALL TO BE ORIGINAL AND NOT CRISPY!!! please? Sarah J.M. If I do have time and am in the area I'll let you know. I usually go up 95 and then over to 447 and take the back way through Nevada. Mabee we could meet in Fernley. I may be up that way next month but I have no definate plans. Reply Anonymous Member sinceApril 2003 305,205 posts Posted by Anonymous on Tuesday, July 12, 2005 2:27 PM Thank you all. As I move along with my scanning to CD project will post more, this album I'm scanning is mostly SF stuff, there will be more SP. Chad, if you ever have time and your in the area let me know, we can go for a soda or coffee. I was just up there a few weeks back. There wasn't any traffic on the SP, oops I mean UP, but I did catch a couple up in Gerlock though. Man do they fly through there. The well cars look like they could get airborne when they hit the crossing and you can see the ground ripples eminating away from the tracks. From 75' away from the tracks you feel like there's an earthquake. Reply spbed Member sinceDecember 2001 From: Austin TX 4,941 posts Posted by spbed on Sunday, July 10, 2005 7:35 AM Great! It is amazing how not even 20 years ago graffiti was so sparse, now it seems more cars than not are covered with graffiti on the bottom part of the sides. What's even worse is there have been Union Pacific locomotives with graffiti on them around the system recently. It does not help that UP keeps vandalizing the locomotives it got from SP, SSW, DRGW, and CNW (or is that what you were refering to?). Well the recent patchwork jobs don't help on for UP's image either, you are right, but the ones I am refering to are actually "tagged" UP units, they seem to be coming mostly out of the west coast.
