As of Oct. '04, they were still at the GE plant in Erie, Pa. as I shot pictures of 2 of them. And they were still in their BN Green paint.

Would you be willing to part with them or make copies?

The only model produced of the B32-8 was a brass one by Overland Models Inc. back in the 90's.
As for modeling articles there was one in the Sept. 1990 Model Railroader.
For up close detail photo's check out the Sept/Oct 1990 issue of Diesel Era.

All three were retired in March 1991.

BN B32-8's What happened to them?
Posted by dblink02 on Saturday, July 2, 2005 12:58 PM
I am looking for information on the BN B32-8's. I understand they are the only Dash 8's BN ever owned. Did they go back to GE? If anyone has photos or slides of them I would be very intersted in them. Also, if anyone knows of any models that were produced I would like that info as well.
Thanx,
Dan
