Someone Forget to pay the light bill?

You may be closer to the mark than you think...

Edit:  You were apparently exactly on the mark...

Sorry for the outage, folks. Had to pay a bill..... :P

You can complain here all you want, you do need to understand that 90% of the railfan sites are run by volunteers/hobbiest.
these people do have regular jobs and thieir effort to troubleshoot your all important site, takes their free time and family time.
so sorry if these guys don't drop everything, and mark off from work to get your railfan site back up.
Even with websites*** happens, be patient troubleshooting software takes time.

I went on to Railroad.net and it works fine. I just have a couple Q's.first off I havn't been on RR.net before now. What is the difference between RR.net and Trains.com? Who owns or runs the website? If you can email the people who run the website, why don't you email them and complain?

I can't get it to load either. I have never been to this site. This is acting just like trainorders. I was able to get their for a week, and then it went blank again.

[:(!] Well it looks like rr.net is down AGAIN, since about noon, when in the middle of posting something and submitting the site crapped out on me... go figure. And the site was running fine (for a little over a week!) until now.

Thank goodness we've got trains.com. It seems like railroad.net goes down more often than I change my socks.

Agreed emmar, when i'm on a site, and I type in www.railroad.net in the address bar, the site doesn't load. At Trains.com, it's never down. [:)]

I think it is down still because it won't load on my computer. I waited five minutes and nothing had loaded. This is why I like trains.com it is never having "technical difficulties".
Yes we call it the Dinky. Why? Well cause it's dinky! Proud to be the official train geek of Princeton University!

emd_SD_60, I'm right with you. They have to get that fixed. I tried to get on now, 12:54 P.M. and it's down. I tried to get on last night around Midnight, and it worked. Then a few minutes later, it went down again. They have a really bad server. I guess when the webmaster sees that it's down, he'll fix it.

[:(!] What is wrong with the railroad.net forums? Seems they have been having a lot of "technical difficulties" lately. I had no problem viewing the site earlier (around 4 p.m) but tried to visit earlier and got some stupid "404 Error" message. They better wise up and fix it... it's getting old.[:(!]
