Not your flame war on what is best. But i do have a question for the mechanical department here. On G.E. engines dash 8 and 9 have what is called a traction motor protection which cuts the power to the traction motor when the temp gets to a certain degrees. just what is that temp? i have had that happen once but never since. i know how to go to the screen that displays this info of operating system. and i have had the motors what i call pretty hot. just something i like to know.

J I too have had this happen, dont know the
temp. though, its a method to keep you from operating in the short time ratings for over
the prescribed time (cant cheat) jackflash

yes and you as well as anyone knows if your moving along your not going to stop on a hill couse you reach the short time limit. keep it in #8 and not look at the amp gauge.
