Question about CENTRALIA, ILLINOIS

Hey, maybe some of you can help me out there. Is it true that CN discontinued service in Centralia Illinois? How could this be? That yard is HUGE! And it's quite historic, though this would be no reason to keep it open if the bluford line saves CN more money, I guess, but still, to close the train yard in a town that was built by the railroad. Can anybody verify this rumor? Is it true? Details?
thank you, joe
