My God- Steam haiku ! Does anyone want to set up another thread for "steam haiku"?
Perhaps some 4-8-4 , 8-4-4 or 4-8-8-4 .
4-6-6-4 should be easy - but 3-9-8-5 would be a real Challenge(r).
Just a thought.

I will try to
put eight in second line here and
see some trains now[8D].

I beleive that it was the Romanian railroad that ran the 5-7-5. It was called the "Hork-u".

Here's one for Ed, working on the Houston Port Terminal Railroad (I did ask him if I could post this, and he said o.k.)

Ed's hands swift and sure
switching cars, riding the rails
trains leaving on time

It's a challenge, but produces some good stuff! [:)][:)]

Hard to pick a favourite from these efforts, but I particularly like Richard's "Departure" and Dale's "Green Lights"

Keep 'em comin' people, let's get those litlle grey cells jumping! [:)]
