I remember seeing the UP9999 in Council Bluffs,Iowa back in the early 90's. She was very nice and very clean back in her time.

There was also a former SP GP40X with that number a few years ago. I am assuming it has been retired. I think it was summer of 2001 when I saw it.

Not any more. It was one of UP's original three AC4400CW units, but has been renumbered.
