here are the engines that were in the wreck
NS 9870
UP 4594
NS 6651
NS 9631
NS 6693
BNSF 5441

the SD70 picked up the other cars that stayed perfect on track also none of the engines are going to be scraped all of them stayed on track

Fond memories of Salisbury, NC. Back in 1976 while on a college basketball road trip to Catawba College, the coach let me take the college vehicle railfanning. I went uptown to the depot and got shots of probably 10 trains in the afternoon.

That night I scored 37 points and 15 rebounds.

The 10 trains in one day and the 37 points were both career highs!
