Thanx for the photo![tup][;)]'

I agree with those who prefer the F40PH's ...... these "newbies" look as if they came out of the box - "fold along the dotted lines to assemble."

See ya![tup][;)]

Still, just not the same without an F40. Those GE units while efficiecient, IMHO, look rather "wimpy".

What did they say when they first came out? Something like that's not the P42, it's the box it was shipped in? Man, I miss the F40's, too. I can't even watch the Ski Train for a little while until they start running on the summer schedule. Oh well... did catch the CZ in the snow yesterday up in Coal Creek Canyon. Even with ugly GE's, it was still pretty cool to look at with the low hanging scud clouds and such. Besides, Uncle Pete didn't feel the need to run much yester day. #6 was all I managed to catch. I'll post the pictures if I get a chance.

The Lemont-Lockport-Joliet segment is on the ICG/(CN)/GM&O lines. The former ATSF Super Chief line is freight only. I don't know how many of the old B&O position light signals are left. Get your pictures of the old gems while you can!

Is that on the Illinois Centersl, (CN), or is it on the BNSF?
