The Southern Pacific railroad bridge over Highway 138 was installed when the line was originally constructed. The two highway bridge over the two BNSF single-track mainlines were a latter day placement. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- K.P.’s absolute “theorem” from early, early childhood that he has seen over and over and over again: Those that CAUSE a problem in the first place will act the most violently if questioned or exposed. I'm not sure about the highway 138 bridge. And was the SP underpass built when the cutoff was built? I came across a photo before they were built and it was dated in the late 70's. Is that right? I thought they were built about the time the Palmdale cutoff was built. Reply Join our Community! Our community is FREE to join. To participate you must either login or register for an account.
