Now you won't see a B unit on a Class 1 these days but might catch one on a tourist train or possibly a short line. BNSF still runs b-units on their routes.

Reply Anonymous Member sinceApril 2003 305,205 posts Cabless Units...... Posted by Anonymous on Thursday, April 21, 2005 9:43 PM 1st off a big shout out to all railroaders and railfans. I'm a newbie here and just though I post an interesting topic for once. Is it me or Cab Units just getting old nowdays, last few trips to Rochelle was Cab's'r'Us. Now don't get me wrong when they were first intorduced back in 91? I was a cab fanatic! But after spending some years chasing the IAIS I started gaining more respect for the old paduch geeps and older geeps and its very darn interesting to still see older geeps leading high merchandise freights especially on the old Rock Island.. comments, suggestions welcome................................Peace Will.............[8)] Reply Edit Join our Community!
